Where Jazz Reinvents Itself
Perched above the tracks in a former train station, the Jazz Station is truly one of a kind. For the past twenty years, it has been reshaping the way we listen to, think about, and experience jazz. More than just a club, it’s a creative hub in constant motion — a crossroads of styles, ideas, and encounters, where jazz meets the world around it.
Behind its red bricks and wide windows, the Jazz Station bursts with life. Concerts, exhibitions, residencies, open stages, workshops, masterclasses, activities for little ones… From morning to night, the space pulses with energy, welcoming both seasoned music lovers and curious first-timers. Here, music doesn’t just fill the room — it lives in it.
It’s a space of deep listening, where respect for artists and audiences is part of the daily rhythm. The atmosphere is more like a concert hall than a bar, and musical quality is always front and center. Each concert, each project, is crafted with care — a space where everyone can find their place.
With a bold and eclectic program, the Jazz Station thrives on breaking boundaries — between genres, generations, and disciplines. Jazz here merges with dance, performance, visual art, and spoken word. This openness is its signature, as is its commitment to supporting emerging talent and building bridges between Brussels’ many artistic initiatives.
Since its earliest days, the Jazz Station has also been home to Les Lundis d’Hortense collective, offering them a stage every Wednesday to share their work with the public.
Twenty years of passion, exploration, and shared vibrations. Hundreds of artists, thousands of audience members, countless projects. And still, the same unwavering desire to keep jazz alive — vibrant, daring, and free.
Welcome to the Jazz Station — a home for jazz, and so much more.
