Freeing the Voice, Together
One Saturday a month, the Jazz Station fills with vibrant voices and creative energy. Led by the generous duo of Geneviève Fraselle and Martial Host, these vocal jazz workshops are open to all — adults and children alike, beginners or experienced singers. No pressure here, just breath, rhythm, listening, and a whole lot of joy.
The sessions are run by two passionate artists. Geneviève Fraselle (trained by David Linx) and Martial Host (composer and pianist) co-lead Genevoix, an association dedicated to jazz singing, breath, and the expressive power of the voice. Their workshops have taken them across Belgium and beyond — from Jazz in Marciac to the Crest Jazz Festival.
They also created a beautiful book-CD on prenatal singing — a tender, musical gem you can discover here:

🎶 The Keys to the Jazz Voice
Every month from 11:45 AM to 2:15 PM, the Jazz Station becomes a space for collective exploration. These group workshops dive into the richness of vocal jazz in a supportive and curious atmosphere.
What to expect:
- Warm-up: breathing, vocal and physical exercises, playful games, and first steps into improvisation.
- Group singing: Real Book standards, bossas, polyphony, ballads… a diverse repertoire sung together.
- Optional solo coaching: for those who want it, a moment on the Jazz Station’s professional stage to work with a mic, explore presence and balance voice and piano.
🎤 At the end of each season, a final concert is organized in June to share the music and celebrate the journey.
